Fix IPTV Buffering & Freezing
Buffering is almost always fixable. Work through this checklist before assuming it's the channel itself.
Check your actual speed
Run a speed test on the exact device you're streaming on. HD channels need roughly 10-15 Mbps and 4K needs more — if your connection is close to the limit, other devices on the network (downloads, video calls, other streams) can push it over.
Wired beats Wi-Fi
If your streaming device is anywhere near your router, an Ethernet cable (or a Firestick/Android Ethernet adapter) removes Wi-Fi interference entirely and is the single biggest fix for intermittent freezing.
Restart router and device
Routers and streaming boxes both accumulate memory and connection issues over time. A full restart of both — not just closing and reopening the app — clears most temporary problems.
Check for ISP throttling
Some internet providers slow down streaming traffic during peak hours. If buffering happens mainly in the evening and your speed test looks fine, this is a common cause — a wired VPN connection can sometimes help here.
Still buffering after all of this?
If a specific channel is affected while everything else streams fine, that's worth reporting — message our support team with the channel name and time it happened, and we'll check the server on our end.
